Community Supported Knowledge

Each of these projects below are topics that someone in Portland is excited to learn about, and willing to lead the charge in trying it out and teaching along the way. If you want to learn about any of these topics, follow the link and support the campaign (any amount is fine) Just know that the point is that we are all trying to learn together, you're not necessarily paying for an expert led workshop, you're supporting someone in your community taking the initiative to guide you and themselves in learning something new. We all have to start somewhere, and initiating is often the hardest part, but we can do it together.

Once the goal is reached, all those who donated to the campaign will get an email to schedule the workshop. Just that easy

If you have an idea for a topic you'd like to be supported in learning and then in turn teach to others, fill out the form below and we'll make a campaign for you!

Lesser Celandine is everywhere. Let's find uses for it since we'll be pulling it up anyways.

Build refrigerators out of clay that don't require electricity!

Fruit trees need to be pruned twice a year and the methods are different for various trees and vines. Join me in the exploration of summer pruning at the food forest I steward in SE Portland!

Build a roof, route water from a spring, capture the heat from the sun, learn some basic plumbing, and make a shower!
